Integrative Counsellor • MBACP

I am an integrative trainee counsellor, looking to provide a safe and welcoming space for clients. My intention is to support the mental health of my clients, through a genuine, caring and non-judgmental approach. I encourage clients to share your unique experiences and emotions, to be creative and reflective, whilst practicing self-care and self-kindness.

Therapeutic Approach

My integrated approach draws on Person-centered, placing the client as the priority in the sessions, with compassion and empathy, as well as Transactional analysis, to better understand the interactions we have with ourselves and others, and the impact of those relationships on our feelings and behaviours. I also draw on existentialism, with an Islamic perspective, to consider our purpose, ensuring each session is valuable to you. The sessions are focused on you - your thoughts, ideas, opinions and feelings - so that you feel more confident in yourself and in your relationships with those around you.
